Merck rolls out over five hours of role-based user training for CSGS

Merck, a global research-driven pharmaceutical company for consumer and animal care, recently chose Brookwood for its eLearning expertise. When Merck was ready to roll out a sophisticated, role-based user training for the Clinical Schedule Generation System (CSGS), a highly visible and extremely complex system, they turned to Brookwood. Brookwood was chosen for its ability to seamlessly become an extension of Merck’s eLearning team, its ability to provide both on-site and off-site support, and its ability to create a technical training complete with interactions, simulations, and assessments.

The Brookwood Solution

As is common on many projects, Merck was looking for a partner who was not only expert in eLearning, but also easy to work with. Due to the complexity of the training, and the fact that CSGS was not yet functional, Merck needed an eLearning partner who was flexible, responsive, and available 24/7. By building wireframes, working in parallel with Merck’s development team, and even going to Merck’s offices to use their laptops, Brookwood was able to launch the training in sync with the product launch.
