The Need
Wharton Healthcare Management Alumni Association
(WHCMAA) required a site which would better
serve their alumni, students, potential students,
recruiters, other Wharton departments, other
healthcare professionals and the public through
improved ease of operations and maintenance.
The main goals for a new site were layout,
organization, and usability within a design
that reflects the Associations strategic initiatives
and priorities. The WHCMAA also wanted to improve
the communication and usefulness of content
while streamlining processes. All these goals
were expected to be completed in a timely and
cost-effective manner.
The Solution
Brookwood was selected to design an engaging
site for WHCMAA on-time and within budget.
Features of the design include welcome summary
pages available to the public for Career Development,
Job Services, and Regional Events; Secure sections
providing services and content available to
health care alumni only; and connecting the
job posting section to secure job viewing and
notification services. Engineering features
include password reminder prompt for forgotten
passwords, ability to pay dues online through
Acteva, and job opportunities sent directly
to subscribers via email.
